Daniel
Kuntz - Contact
Principal and School Choice Administrator
Mr. Daniel Kuntz has a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry at
Southern Adventist University, where he also obtained his teaching
credentials. Daniel has taught for 7 years in public and parochial
schools around the country including Tennessee, California, and
Wisconsin. He has taught grades 7 to 12. Having been blessed with an
Adventist education from 1st grade through college Daniel was delighted
to have the opportunity to serve as principal and school choice
administrator at Milwaukee SDA School.
Daniel places a firm belief in Proverbs 6:22, “Train up a
child in the way he (she) should go, and when he (she) is old he will
not depart from it.” What could be more important than training a child
in Christ? After seeing many children growing up without Christ and the
limitations placed on public school teachers, Daniel wanted to be in a
place where he could not only be the best example as he could with a
Christian lifestyle, but in a place where he could talk about God as
part of his curriculum and everyday life.
With the support from parents and churches this school will develop
leaders today who will walk with Jesus into Eternity!!

Mrs. Sandy
DeGree - Contact
3rd & 4th grades. Throughout my career I have had the
opportunity to teach a variety of subjects as well as grade levels:
grades 1 through 8, all subjects; high school English, communication,
drama, special education and speech pathology. After graduating with a
BA in 1968 from the University of Northern Colorado I accepted a job as
a speech pathologist for the coming fall. A few years later I was
blessed with a son, and made the decision to put my teaching career on
hold in order to be a stay at home mom. When my son began his school
career, I too returned to the field of education. Wanting to be home
with my son after school, becoming a substitute was a logical choice.
During this period in my life, I realized that teaching the younger
grades is what I really wanted to do. To further my career, I returned
to college in Keene, Texas. It was there that I earned my fifth year
with a degree in elementary education; launching my full time career as
a lower grade school teacher. Throughout the next twenty-five years God
has given me the opportunity to live and teach in several different
communities in the United States: Modesto, California; Bandon, Oregon;
Tillamook, Oregon and now Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Wanting to teach
children about Jesus and His love, my continuing educational classes
focused on integrating Christ in all academic subjects. As a teacher,
helping students experience success was vital. When education began to
focus on the different learning styles, academic achievement for all
students became possible. The opportunity to provide educational
workshops for teachers and also mentor young educators for the future
has been a special blessing. My love of teaching continues. God has
blessed my life with wonderful students, parents, and colleagues. Even
though I have been in the field of education for many years now, I
cannot imagine doing anything else. |
